As nearly anybody who knows me, knows that I am a die hard LeBron James fan. He has been my favorite player for as long back as I can remember. Every year that he has played, the unsaid obvious is that he plays to Wim championship. Nothing more, nothing less. He already had 4 of them but he is never satisfied. Since he won his fourth ring last year, many teams are loading up their rosters n order to beat them. Therefore they responded by getting Andre Drummond, the veteran center coming from the Cleveland Cavilers. This is a huge addition for the lakers, especially on the defensive end. There are teams that they know they can't completely overshadow offensively, therefore it was a smart move to just load up on defensive players. the Laker nation is hoping he will give the championship repeat run a little more life.

LBJ injury

It was a scary sight a couple weeks when LeBron James went down in the second quarter of their home game against the Atlanta Hawks. Ankle sprains are one of the most common injuries in basketball. Once you get out of the amateur level of basketball, most programs have people to tape their ankles before every practice and game. This does not prevent any injuries in the area, it can only stop the injury from being as bad due to the restricting of movement. So what does this injury mean for Lebron? Well he is expected miss the next 2-3 weeks of games. But more importantly, it effects his MVP race. When you are not on the court, players surpass you because you can't produce anything at the moment. Now Lebron will have to play exceptionally well when he comes back in order to regain the favorite for this years MVP. Do you guys think Lebron will make one case push for the trophy when he comes back?

NCAA transfer Portal

Image
What is this big boy right here? This is the NCAA transfer portal. This portal contains all of the names of the division 1 as well as division 2 college basketball players that are transferring schools, and looking for a new home. It sounds good off top doesn't it? Well it might be for coaches who can easily find players. But does anybody look into the shoes of the players. When a player enters their name in here, they then lose the knowledge of what their future holds. A whole bunch of 18-22 year old men, who are looked at as nothing but a market. They have no idea who is going to pick them, and therefore no clue of what city, university, or life they will believing in upcoming months. It can be a blessing and a living curse at the same time. Different perspectives can always seem a little crazy.

These three guys are phenomenal NBA players. LeBron has been considered the best player in the league for many years now. But there are many other players who have been right behind him every year. The two other players in the picture are not one of those players. But on the flip side, those two players are both ahead of LeBron James in the 2021 season MVP race. Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets and Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76'ers, have both been unstoppable this year! They are nighty walking double-doubles and on many nights triple-doubles. There is still a good portion of season left and the race should close. Who do you guys think will win the race??

No surprise here! I think everybody knows what month it is. Its the month of March. What's so special about the month of march? Simple, its the month of madness... march madness that is. The Bradley Braves are the two time defending champions of the MVC tournament. Tomorrow marks the start of the 2021 tournament. As many people know, anything can happen in this tournament. The best seeded teams season can be ended by the low seeds in a heartbeat. Hopefully Bradley can be the team that does that this year. Wait, I have to play in that game tomorrow. I think its time I get off of this blog and prepare. Go Braves!
